Jim was a very good friend to many people in our class. He ultimately became an outstanding husband and father to four neat children. Jon Peden, Pat Spieles and I were lucky to be able to spend quality time with Jim in Jackson prior to his passing. Jim left a legacy as a friend, husband, father, teacher, coach we can all admire.
Jim was one hell of a good football player. He was also a great person and friend. On the football field he was always the one who would encourage us to play harder when we were losing. He was a passionate player and it showed.
