The first I met BJ we were 4 years old. My family was visiting Casper from Oklahoma and my grandmother babysat the three Ford boys. She took me to the Ford's house and introduced me yo Wayne, BJ(Punking in those days) and Dale.Who would have guessed we would remain lifelong friends. The Class of 1962 dearly misses our dear friend and class historian.

We all know Punky was an outstanding person.  One funny story that I will never forget....Carol Boyles was having a party at their place in Casper and everyone was leaving - except Punky.  He apparently didn't have anwhere to go or certainly wasn't in a hurry to leave.  After let's say the 10th time Carol told Punky to leave, she simply picked him up and set him outside and shut the door in his face......can you picture that and the look on his face.   It was so funny.   You were a dear, Punky, and much loved.

I will always remember Punky as the guy coming down the hall in high school with a big smile on his face and the one in the know. He always knew the latest gossip and would share it with you. He treated you like you were his best friend even if you did not know him that well.

Years later when my wife and I saw him at a reunion, he immediately thanked us for coming and made me feel like I had never left Casper. Bob was and always will be a special person in my memory.
