Jon was a close and loyal friend since we met in our Sophomore year of HS. As it is with close friends, we would sometimes go years with no contact and when we did, we didn't miss a beat. He was smart, humble and a devoted husband and father. He influenced my life and I miss our honest conversations.

I loved Jon, always looked so forward to seeing him at the reunions with Diane.   We were good friends from jr. high on.  We had good times even after high school, college when they lived in Denver.  I will miss him but hold him close in my heart and my memories.  I believe, besides a being brilliant person,  he was one of the truly kindest I've ever met.  Will always love him.  Suzi Shepherd Collier

Jon was one of those extremely intelligent people who had that rare quality of never making you feel stupid when you had a conversation with him. He always treated everyone with respect and kindness.  I will always remember this about Jon. He also impressed me with his knowledge of cars. And recently I became amazed at his artistic talent displayed in his paintings.  Rest In Peace my friend.
